Lord Jesus:

Here you have me to serve you and place at your feet the work in which I am engaged.
You chose me to be a catechist, announcer of your Message to the brothers.

I feel very small and ignorant, I am often fickle, but I know that You need me.
Thank you for trusting me, your little servant.
I am ready to fulfill this beautiful task with simplicity and modesty, love and faith.

I want to be your instrument to awaken in many brothers:
affection for your person, confidence in your promises,
desire to follow you as a disciple.

Bless my efforts day by day;
put your words on my lips, and make that, in communion with my brothers,
may collaborate in extending your Kingdom.

Mary, you who always faithfully followed the footsteps of your Son,
lead us down the same path. Amen.
