Lord who called the apostles
to be fishers of men
and builders of a new world,
call now young people also
for the various services
and ministries in the church.

Broaden their horizons to encompass the world
and make them hear the supplications
of so many brothers and sisters
who long for light and truth.

Sanctify them by your Spirit
and communicate to them
your thirst for redemption
that they may answer your call
and be salt and light
to the ends of the earth. Amen.
