We are all called to witness through our lives to the truth of the gospel, to express the message of the resurrection with our lives and to make the following of Christ as set out in the gospels the ultimate norm of our life. The book highlights a few aspects of the life and message of Jesus that show him as a missionary, the One sent by the Father into this world and anointed by the Spirit. Reflections answer questions that might arise in us on our journey. In the light of our Trinitarian spirituality, some thoughts endeavour to throw into relief the person of Jesus in his humanity, his inexpressible, tender love for his heavenly Father, his availability, how he was urged on by the Spirit, and his goodness and compassion towards every person. This book might encourage us and inspire us to follow Jesus and his attitude towards the excluded and the despised and to reveal the Father as the God of love and compassion who invites all people to communion with himself.
