Lord Jesus, Eternal Word of the Father,
you came into the world to speak words of life
and to open for us the way to the heart of God. 📖✨

From your pierced side flowed blood and water,
a sign of the Spirit who renews creation.
Look today upon our wounded world:
its divided peoples, its forgotten poor,
its young without hope,
its devastated lands, its weary hearts.

Send your Spirit upon us once again.

Holy Spirit,
strength of Christ in mission,
teach us to listen to your voice in the depths of our hearts,
show us what we must do
and give us the courage to do it generously.

Make us missionaries of the Divine Word,
able to enter into dialogue with all,
to cross boundaries,
to accompany the small and the suffering.

Teach us, like Jesus,
to withdraw into the sanctuary of the heart
to adore you, to listen to you, and to follow you.

And thus, open to your grace,
may we become in the midst of a wounded world
living signs of your light,
witnesses of your Word,
and servants of your Spirit.
