Lord Jesus,

your empty tomb does not give easy answers.
It does not take away my doubts at once.
It does not make everything clear.

And yet it invites me to return —
as your disciples returned, afraid and confused,
as my many people returned, uncertain yet faithful.

Teach me a faith that does not run from darkness,
a hope that is born in the midst of suffering,
and the courage to live as if the grave is not the final word.

Help me choose forgiveness instead of resentment,
truth instead of silence,
and presence with those whom no one remembers.

Do not let me only speak about the resurrection —
help me live it each day.

Amen.
