The Word Became Flesh

Word before all words,
Sound before all silence,
Breath of God spoken into time,
You chose not thunder,
but a whisper of flesh.

Eternal Word,
You entered our noise and our stillness,
our questions and our nights,
becoming life within our language,
light within our darkness.

Teach us to listen again
to the Word that creates,
the Word that heals,
the Word that dwells among us.

May Your living Word
take flesh in our lives today,
so that our words may carry truth,
our silence may cradle love,
and our lives shine with the memory of Your light.

Amen.
