Child Jesus, in you we recognize the gift of God to men; in you we see the tenderness of the Father: in you we adore the Son of God, the Messiah announced by the prophets.

Child Jesus, make us capable of accepting the mystery that you enclose, of listening to the voice of God in the simplicity of your Word.

Child Jesus, fill our hearts with peace, which is a gift from heaven: fill the hearts of all people with good will.

Child Jesus, open to hope all those who live in sadness and anguish: Child Jesus, you are the light. You are the smile of God among men.
