Mother of the Miracle, Lady of Life!
Upon receiving the announcement of the Angel Gabriel,
you accepted life with maturity, generosity and
audacity.

Accompany women who take on the challenge of
being mothers, and strengthen them in their mission of care
for the humanity that is gestated in them.

At the foot of the cross you received the body of your Son
and with your strong hope you stood
at the dawn of the Resurrection.

Receive the many children who die at the fountain of
life, touch the hearts of those who should not
turn that fountain into a scaffold of death,
and help us guard life when it is threatened.

At the beginning of our covenant history
you accepted, at the foot of Calvary, this your people
to accompany them on their pilgrimage.

Accompany those who are responsible for it
so that the laws they enact,
the decisions they make and  the judgments they
pass, never work against human life
from conception to death.

Mother of Life, protect your smallest children. Amen
