Anim.: Our Father, God of love and mercy, we praise you because you sent us Jesus, your Son and our brother, life and hope for all peoples.

All: O Father, send us the Holy Spirit and open the minds and hearts of the brothers and sisters of America, so that they may “become close” to all, especially the poorest, forgotten, and excluded.

Anim.: Father, may your will be done!

All: Strengthen us in our mission to serve, dialogue, witness, and proclaim Jesus beyond all borders.
O Father, help us to be like Mary, the tender and loving mother. Teach us to walk in hope. Amen.
