The present material is part of other Three Volumes, which contain the Letters of Arnold Janssen, SVD to South America. Volume I, which runs from the years 1890-1899, was edited and commented on by Josef Alt, SVD. They bring a historical introduction, then the text of the letters of Arnoldo Janssen addressed to the members of the Arnoldina family, in Argentina, on a variety of topics, which the reader will be able to discover in their reading.

The publication of these letters from Arnold Janssen to SSpS priests, Brothers and Sisters active in South America marks another milestone in this task worthy of our sincere gratitude. To fulfill the hope and deep missionary spirit of Father Arnoldo that “his letters continue to be of great inspiration and awaken missionary concern in those who make contact with them.
