Arnoldo is among the Great Missionaries that the Catholic Church has had. This volume is intended to enhance the life and work of Arnoldo Janssen through extensive written documentation and photography. The photos are original from his time or related to places where he lived and acted. The texts have been taken from his letters, memories, or publications.

The words of Sacred Scripture read at his First Mass on August 17, 1861: “Whoever sows sparingly, will reap sparingly, and whoever sows with full hands, with full hands will also reap” ( 2Cor 9.6), they were deeply engraved on his soul. Arnold Janssen was a sower. A sower of the Word of God. He sowed it abundantly and thus he was able to reap abundantly as evidenced by his work and his religious and missionary heritage.
