In our world, we need those who work for the kingdom of God and we need those who pray for the kingdom of God. Mother Mary Michaele was a valiant woman and an exemplary religious. She lived in a world of supernatural values but never lost her practical down-to-earth common sense. She found her joy in the service of God and His will was the guiding star of her life. Her gift to the Church and to people was a congregation of perpetual adoration, sister-adorers who pray around the clock and around the world. When Mother Mary Michaele lit the sanctuary lamp in the first humble chapel of her congregation, over 70 years ago, she never dreamed that one day other lamps would be burning in chapels of her congregation in Europe, in North and South America, in the Philippines, and, until communistic times, in China.
May this life story of Mother Mary Michaele inspire you to find peace, joy, and courage where she found them – in the Blessed Sacrament.
